October, 2 – KAZGUU Kazakh and Russian languages Department and Nazarbayev University organized the seminar on “Methodological support of linguistic, social and humanitarian disciplines in higher education”. The workshop combined review and discussion on policy issues of evaluation of students’ knowledge in the framework of the Bologna process, description and social variation of language preparation in modern university, as well as questions of form and content of the syllabus to achieve adequate description of the discipline.

Report on strategies to improve educational programs in the context of the Bologna teaching technology «Strategies to improve Sillabus Design» was presented by manager in the field of teaching policy of Nazarbayev University Master Philip Montgomery. The seminar was attended by teachers of higher educational institutions of Astana.
