KAZGUU Newsroom is the information distribution service located at M. Narikbayev KAZGUU University in Astana. The aim of the abovementioned media is to distribute information by raising issues concerning the capital and the country in general. The service functions annually, from September till May. The articles produced by KAZGUU Newsroom can be published on its platforms by various Kazakhstani media sources registered as partners of the editorial office.
KAZGUU Newsroom was established by KAZGUU School of Liberal Arts. Although the editorial office was set up at KAZGUU University, the management does not interfere with the policy of the office. The project is carried out with the support from the experts of Michigan State University, School of Journalism, the USA.
The editorial board does not focus on one particular topic or issue. Journalists of KAZGUU Newsroom can concentrate on social issues, from politics to economics and finance. The main principle of KAZGUU Newsroom is to monitor the performance of duties by different branches of power and introduction of new reforms to public discussion.
