Universiade ski race competition took place on the roller ski track on 16 February.  Students of the capital’s universities competed for the title of the best athlete.  About 60 people took part in the competition.  The distance was 1 km for women and 3 km for men.

We would like to congratulate our student, Indira Kaliyeva, who won the 2^nd prize in the individual classification, and the KAZGUU team for their active participation in the tournament.  We also congratulate the teachers of Physical Education on this honourable victory in the Universiade.

We wish them new victories and high achievements in sports.
