Excursions

The Department of General Education at our university provides first-year students with a unique opportunity to visit architectural, historical, and cultural landmarks of the country. They have a chance to directly explore the heritage of their ancestors, their customs, and traditions through educational excursions to sacred sites in Kazakhstan. The history teachers have set the following goals for these trips: to reinforce the theoretical knowledge gained in class by experiencing real events, developing a sense of connection, empathy, and deep understanding of history. – instilling a sense of patriotism and pride for their homeland

– promoting the knowledge of their region’s history in society

As a result, students will be able to:

– identify connections between national traditions and customs with the code of conduct of modern Kazakhstanis

– understand the significance of national traditions as the foundation of values in family, profession, corporate ethics, society, and the state.- making independent decisions and drawing conclusions about various historical situations through case studies

– using acquired knowledge to shape and justify their personal positions as patriots and individuals with an active civic stance

By visiting sacred sites, students gain a real understanding of historical events and learn to independently explore alternative solutions. All of this will enable them to fulfill their potential as individuals and professionals in the future.
